The Stages in the Process of Creating the Perfect Fruit

1. Planning the Planting - The orchard cultivation process begins with meticulous planning based on years of experience. At Hadarei Nitzanim, plots are carefully designed to match market demands and the unique sandy soil conditions of the coastal region. Planting is carried out with consideration for both current and future sought-after varieties, ensuring stable yields, high-quality fruit, and long-term prosperity.

2. Orchard Growth and Care - The orchards are irrigated with reclaimed water sourced from purification plants in Ashkelon and Ashdod, using advanced techniques that preserve natural resources. The trees grow for approximately five years before yielding a commercial harvest, ensuring the highest quality fruit. The combination of technology and traditional methods results in exceptional produce.

3. Fruit Harvesting - The harvest season begins in August and lasts until April, employing around 200 workers at peak harvest time in the orchards. Harvesting takes place only after the fruit undergoes ripeness testing in a laboratory and is deemed ready for commercial picking. This ensures an efficient and precise harvest while maintaining the highest fruit quality.

4. Transporting the Fruit to the Packing House - The harvested fruit is transferred from picking baskets into half-ton containers placed on small interconnected carts, which are transported to the packing house’s cold storage rooms. Upon arrival, the fruit is immediately placed in refrigeration units, ensuring maximum freshness and preserving its rich flavor throughout the process. This stage is crucial for maintaining the fruit’s quality until the sorting and packaging phase.

5. Sorting and Packing the Fruit - The sorting process utilizes advanced technology and automated machines, ensuring rigorous quality control so that only the finest fruits proceed to packaging. The packaging process is precise and efficient, preserving the freshness and quality of each fruit while adhering to the highest standards. These systems guarantee a reliable and streamlined operation tailored to market demands.

7. Arrival at Supermarkets and Boutique Stores - The fruits arrive at supermarket shelves in Israel and Europe in perfect condition, maintaining their fresh taste and exceptional quality. Careful handling at every stage ensures that customers enjoy an outstanding consumption experience with ready-to-eat fruits.
